Reaffirming its commitment towards the welfare of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) families, the Indian Army organised a Career Counselling Lecture for children of ESM at the remote location of Argi. The session was aimed at guiding students on career prospects, competitive examinations, vocational opportunities and higher education avenues.
Special emphasis was laid on preparation strategies, government welfare schemes, skill development programmes, and opportunities in both civil and defence sectors. Conducted under the Army’s ongoing outreach programme, the initiative highlighted the Army’s resolve towards the holistic development of youth in border and remote areas.
The lecture was well received by students and ESM families, who expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for its continuous support and guidance. This endeavour reflects the Army’s determination to empower the younger generation, inspire them towards nation-building, and further strengthen the bond with the local populace.
