BSP delegation visits various villages of Purmandalblock to take stock of damage caused by floods

A delegation of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)on Wednesday visited various villages of Mandal block falling under district Samba and took stock of the damage caused to people due to heavy rains and floods in the recent past. BSP delegation, which reached Purmandal block under the chairmanship of Bahujan Samaj Party JKUT President Darshan Rana, visited villages Sambli, Khara and Madana of the block and met people and gathered information about the damage. On this occasion, party state secretary Tilak Raj Bhagat, senior party leaders Madan Lal, Satpal Bavariya, Davinder Kumar, Sardari Lal and Rajkumar along with other party leaders were also present with him. After taking stock of the damage caused by floods and rains, BSP chief Darshan Rana said that rain and floods have caused a lot of devastation in the area and there are still some villages where government help has not reached the people and people’s houses and crops have suffered a lot of damage. He demanded from the district administration that relief should be provided to the people as soon as possible so that the loss suffered by the people can be compensated. Along with this, he also demanded from the central government that a special relief package should be announced to provide immediate relief to the affected people. He said that the workers of Bahujan Samaj Party are constantly in touch with the people and are going to every village and listening to the problems of the people. On this occasion, other people of the party also expressed their views.
