J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul addressed a workshop on Seva Pakhwara of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Jammu at the party office, Kachi Chawni, Jammu.
District Prabhari Brijeshwar Singh Rana, J&K BJP Secretary & District Seh-Prabhari Arun Sharma, District President Adv. Rajesh Gupta, and party MLAs Yudhvir Sethi and Arvind Gupta were also present on the occasion.
While addressing the workshop, Ashok Koul said that BJP has been observing Seva Pakhwara from the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi till the birth anniversary of Gandhi ji, which is not just a series of programmes but a people’s movement dedicated to service, cleanliness, and social responsibility. “Modi ji has always emphasized the spirit of Seva Bhav.
These programmes are an opportunity for every party worker to connect with the people, extend a helping hand, and create awareness about collective responsibility towards society,” he said.
Koul elaborated that during the fortnight, BJP workers across Jammu district will organize multiple programmes such as blood donation camps, exhibitions on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, screening of documentary films, marathons, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam plantation drives, and Swachhata Abhiyan activities in different areas.
Ashok Koul stressed that every activist should actively participate and ensure that these programmes reach every section of the society, particularly the needy. He said that the party’s aim is to turn Seva Pakhwara into a mass campaign that spreads the message of nation-building through service and dedication.
Koul also provided detailed guidelines about the schedule, management, and execution of these activities, with senior leaders guiding the district team on effective coordination.
