The paper leak in JE Electrical exam conducted by JKSSB on 24th, August 2025 depicts the incompetency and malign character of Omar Abdullah led National Conference government.
Arun Prabhat lashes out the JKSSB and Omar government. The current state government has failed in conducting free and fair recruitmnet. Instead of delivering good governance they are misleading the people of Jammu Kashmir on the issues which has nothing to do with the aspirations of people. Recently they have shown their ill intent by introducing Urdu language in the Naib Tehsildar’s recruitment which led to the protest in all the Jammu region yet the justice has been delivered by judiciary. Now another paper leak incident has demoralised the aspirants in particular and youth as whole.
Another grave situation created by JKSSB over JE Civil Examination scheduled on 31 August 2025.
The aspirants for the Junior Engineer (Civil) posts under JKSSB are facing severe distress due to the mismanagement and indecisiveness of the recruiting body. The JE Civil examination, earlier scheduled, was arbitrarily postponed by JKSSB without citing any valid reason. After rescheduling, the exam was fixed for 31 August 2025, which directly clashes with the UPSC mains examination. UPSC candidates raised genuine concerns and were initially assured that postponement would be considered. However, instead of providing relief, JKSSB forced students into litigation, and the matter now awaits hearing before the Hon’ble Court.
The recent cloudburst in Kathua has cut off communication in several areas. Students from the affected region are uncertain about how they will even reach examination centres. JKSSB has failed to address this humanitarian situation, effectively excluding deserving candidates from participation.
Prabhat urged Honorable LG Sh Manoj Sinha to kindly intervene and constitute a high level inquiry committee to find out the black sheeps in the administration who are responsible for the paper leak and theJE Civil examination should proceed only after all loopholes and irregularities rectified, and accountability ensured.
