A public grievances camp was organized at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, by Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary and MLA from RS Pura–Jammu South Assembly Constituency, and Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, MLA from Bishnah Assembly Constituency.
The camp witnessed the participation of a large number of deputations and individuals from across the Jammu region, who came forward to highlight their long-pending demands and day-to-day civic issues.
Deputations from Sanjay Nagar, Bhatindi, Bishnah, Nanak Nagar, Slair, Sarore, Last Morh Gandhi Nagar, Chinore, Shiva Colony, Gangyal and adjoining areas presented a range of grievances before the senior leaders.
The issues raised included acute water crisis, repair and installation of street lights, deployment of e-buses, upgradation of lanes and drains, construction of main roads, fogging operations, along with other general and area-specific concerns.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Narinder Singh reiterated the BJP’s and Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government’s unwavering commitment to addressing public issues with sincerity and urgency. He said that the Modi government has always prioritized the concerns of common citizens.
Every single problem raised here today reflects the genuine needs of our people, and BJP remains dedicated to ensuring that these grievances are taken up at the appropriate levels for early resolution. Good governance is about listening to people, and this direct outreach is the foundation of our working style, he said.
Dr. Rajeev Bhagat assured the people that their issues would not go unheard. He said that the BJP stands with every citizen, whether the concern is about basic amenities, civic infrastructure, or development needs. We are committed to ensuring that the voices of the people are conveyed effectively to the concerned authorities and that tangible solutions are provided in a time-bound manner, he added.
The Public Darbar was coordinated by Er. T.K. Sharma, Co-Incharge, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, J&K BJP, and aimed at facilitating direct interaction between public representatives and the deputations.
