Rich Harvest School marked the 79th Independence Day and Janmashtami with a vibrant celebration that beautifully blended patriotism with cultural devotion. The event was filled with energy, creativity, and a strong sense of unity, reflecting both the pride of the nation’s freedom and the spiritual essence of Lord Krishna’s teachings.
The programme began with a soulful Independence Day song that filled the atmosphere with national pride and set the tone for the occasion. Students then presented a captivating Krishna Ki Leela Jhanki, artistically portraying episodes from Lord Krishna’s life. A Janmashtami-themed dance performance followed, displaying not only the students’ talent but also their deep devotion. Adding to the cultural richness, a heartfelt Janmashtami song resonated with the joyous spirit of the festival.
An inspiring speech on the significance of Janmashtami further deepened the audience’s understanding of Lord Krishna’s values and teachings. The patriotic fervour returned with a high-energy Independence Day dance performance, which was met with enthusiastic applause. The celebration reached its peak with the much-anticipated Dahi Handi ceremony, where students reenacted the playful and adventurous spirit of young Krishna and his friends, bringing laughter and excitement to all.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Ruchi Charak, Director of Rich Harvest School, congratulated the students and staff. “Today’s celebration is a testament to the rich cultural heritage and patriotic spirit of our students.
