Jammu, Aug 13 : Embrace Dental Clinic, one of the leading dental care centres in Channi Himmat, Jammu, organised a free dental camp at Panchayat Ghar, Patli Morh, Bari Brahmna Jammu in collaboration with SIBA Event Management and Innovations Cooperative Ltd & Sarwan Kumar Ex Sarpanch aimed at promoting oral health awareness and providing quality dental services to people from various areas, including far-flung regions.
The camp focused on multiple objectives — educating the public about the importance of oral hygiene, offering free dental consultancy, and spreading awareness on preventive dental care practices. The organisers also sought to address the lack of easy access to dental treatment in rural and remote communities.
The camp was spearheaded by Dr. Aastha Mahajan, supported by her dedicated team, including Dr. Ankit Vermani. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the local community, with a total of 120 people availing free check-ups and advice from the expert dental team.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aastha Mahajan stressed the importance of instilling healthy dental habits from a young age. “Dental hygiene among the youth is a growing concern. Many young people tend to ignore minor dental issues until they escalate into serious problems. Regular brushing, timely check-ups, and proper awareness can prevent most dental diseases. Through such camps, we want to spread the message that oral health is an essential part of overall well-being,” she said.
Dr. Ankit Vermani underlined the significance of early detection in preventing dental complications. “Most dental problems are painless in the early stages and hence go unnoticed. By the time symptoms appear, the condition often requires more complex treatment.
Camps like this help in diagnosing issues early, which can save time, cost, and discomfort for patients,” he remarked.
The organisers extended their gratitude to all volunteers, supporters, and participants for contributing to the camp’s success. They also acknowledged the cooperation of local residents, whose active involvement made the event more impactful.
This initiative is part of Embrace Dental Clinic’s ongoing commitment to community service. The clinic has organised several such outreach programs in the past, including a recent dental camp in Narwal, which also witnessed a strong public response.
