The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sumbal, Murtaza Ahmad on Monday chaired a meeting at Dak Bungalow, Irrigation Colony Sumbal, to review the preparations for the forthcoming Independence Day-2025 celebrations in the sub-division.
The meeting was convened to ensure meticulous planning and coordination among all departments for smooth and vibrant celebrations, reflecting the spirit of unity and patriotism.
The meeting covered a comprehensive review of security measures, preparation of the venue, scheduling of cultural performances, installation of the Public Address System, provision of medical services, positioning of fire tenders, ensuring continuous water and electricity supply.
On the occasion, the SDM emphasized the need for active participation from all departments and directed the concerned to complete all necessary arrangements well in advance.
The meeting was attended by Commandant 45 Bn CRPF Sumbal, Block Development Officers, Zonal Education Officers, Executive Engineers of various departments, SDPO Sumbal, municipal officers, representatives from District Information Office, health, fisheries, horticulture, agriculture, social welfare, fire & emergency services, and other sectoral officers of the sub-division.
