In a heartwarming celebration of the sacred bond between siblings, RHS organized a special assembly to commemorate Raksha Bandhan. The event was marked with great enthusiasm and fervor, highlighting the significance of the festival.
During the assembly, students participated in a group song and poem recitation, showcasing their talents and emphasizing the importance of sibling love and protection.
The highlight of the celebration was when the girls visited the TA Battalion to celebrate rakhi with the jawans, symbolizing their appreciation for the soldiers’ sacrifices and bravery.
This gesture not only strengthened the bond between the students and the jawans but also instilled a sense of patriotism and gratitude among the young minds. The event concluded with a renewed sense of respect and admiration for the armed forces.
Ms Anita Bhatia, Head of the Institute, in a powerful message emphasized that,
“Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of the unbreakable bond between siblings and the unwavering commitment of our armed forces to protect our nation. I’m proud of our students for embracing the true spirit of this festival and extending their love and appreciation to our jawans. This initiative reflects our school’s commitment to fostering values of love, respect, and national pride among our students”.
