In the holy month of Shravan Maas, a time revered for devotion and divine energy, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, organized a spiritually charged Bhajan Sandhya followed by a Maha Aarti of Lord Shiva on Monday evening at 6:00 PM. The temple premises came alive with the divine vibrations of devotional music, sacred chants, and unwavering faith.
Held under the esteemed guidance of Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, President of the Mandir Management Trust and Former Minister, the event drew a large gathering of devotees from across the city who came together in prayer, music, and spiritual unity.
In view of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, special prayers were also offered for the safety, well-being, and successful completion of the holy pilgrimage. The atmosphere was filled with divine fervour as devotees sang bhajans dedicated to Lord Shiva, invoking blessings during this sacred time.
Speaking on behalf of the Mandir Trustees, Sh. Gambhir Dev Singh emphasized the deeper significance of Shravan Maas, highlighting how such collective religious observances help preserve and propagate the eternal values of Sanatan Dharma. “As thousands embark on the challenging Amarnath Yatra, it becomes our sacred duty to pray for their well-being and to uphold the spiritual heritage of our region,” he noted.
The Trustees ensured the smooth and serene conduct of the event, with the Bhajan Sandhya culminating in a grand Maha Aarti, performed with great devotion amidst resonant chants and divine hymns. The atmosphere was one of deep reverence, devotion, and spiritual elevation.
The Mandir Management Trust extended heartfelt gratitude to all the devotees for their enthusiastic participation and reaffirmed its commitment to regularly organizing such sacred gatherings that nurture the cultural and spiritual fabric of society.
