Dogra Degree College has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICFAI Business School (IBS) to enhance academic cooperation, promote knowledge exchange, and create industry-aligned opportunities for students and faculty.
The MoU was formally signed between Dr. Bela Thakur, Director, Dogra Group of Colleges, and Mr. Sahil Chauhan, Regional Manager-North 3, ICFAI Business School, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Gitika Sehgal, Coordinator, Dogra Educational Trust, Mr. Rakesh Mohan Koul, Head of Department, BBA & B.Com, Ms. Preeti Sharma, Coordinator, Placement Cell, and Mr. Arun Verma, Manager, IBS, along with other dignitaries and faculty members.
This partnership is aimed at facilitating student development programs, faculty knowledge-sharing sessions, career counselling initiatives, skill enhancement workshops, Research collaboration, and placement support. The collaboration underscores Dogra Degree College’s commitment to providing holistic and professionally enriching education aligned with current industry standards.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bela Thakur emphasized the importance of academic-industry linkages and expressed confidence that this MoU will bring meaningful benefits to the students of Dogra Degree College. Mr. Sahil Chauhanfrom IBS also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting institutions in their academic and placement objectives through targeted interventions and expert-led engagements.
This MoU is expected to open new avenues for collaborative initiatives, enabling students to gain real-world exposure and empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their future careers.
