Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, as per its annual tradition, has once again made elaborate arrangements for the stay of Yatris along with providing Bhandara (community meals).
Addressing media persons here today, Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President of the Trust, informed that with the commencement of the Shri Amarnath Yatra from 3rd July 2025, Yatris have started reaching various locations for their temporary stay. In this spirit of service and devotion, the Trust has once again opened the doors of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir to host the pilgrims with all necessary facilities.
He stated that the Trust is ensuring proper arrangements for accommodation and Bhandara for the Yatris, with active participation of the Trustees and Special Invitees who remain engaged throughout the day. The Management is also taking care of the security staff deployed for round-the-clock watch and ward duties at the Mandir premises. These arrangements shall continue till the culmination of the Yatra.
Charak further informed that every Friday, along with the regular Mandir Aarti, a special Maha Aarti is organized wherein hundreds of devotees participate and seek blessings of Shriyantar, a divine replica of Shri Lakshmi Ji and the Navgrahas.
Likewise, on every Saturday at 6:00 PM, Maha Aarti is conducted at the newly constructed Shani Mandir, which witnesses active participation from the devotees. The Trust has appealed to the general public to attend these special Aartis and receive the divine blessings of Shri Lakshmi Ji, Navgrahas, and Shani Maharaj.
Charak also informed that a special Bhandara for the Yatris staying at the Mandir was organised today, 4th July, at 1:00 PM sharp.
Prominent among those who were present in the press interaction included S.C. Rekhi (General Secretary), V.K. Abrol, P.C. Gupta, Sumesh Damral, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Tarun Gupta, Kulbir Singh Chib, Ashok Gupta, and Sandeep Singh.
