Dogra Educational Trust successfully organized a Yoga Session on the occasion of International Yoga Day on Saturday. The event was conducted in collaboration with Bhartiya Yog Sansthan (Regd.), Ms. Clara Rafiq Thomas, an experienced yoga practitioner was the resource person for the day. It was held at 9:00 AM in the Auditorium of the Dogra Educational Complex.
The session witnessed active participation from all constituent colleges under the Trust, including Dogra College of Education, Dogra Law College, and Dogra Degree College. Ms. Clara Rafiq Thomas, guided the participants through a series of yoga asanas and breathing techniques aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being.
The occasion was graced by several distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust; Dr. Bela Thakur, Director Dogra Group of Colleges; Dr. Dharamveer Sharma, Dean, Dogra Group of Colleges; and Dr. Gitika Sehgal, Coordinator, Dogra Educational Trust. Their presence added significance to the event and further motivated the participants to embrace a healthy lifestyle through yoga.
All faculty members, staff, and students attended the session dressed in white attire, symbolizing peace and harmony. The session fostered a spirit of unity and wellness among the participants, aligning with the global message of International Yoga Day.
The Trust expresses heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their participation. Their support played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
