The vibrant Day 2 of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp – Gurmukhi witnessed enthusiastic participation by RHS Scholars as they delved into the world of Real-Life Conversations in the Gurmukhi script. Designed to enhance the practical application of language skills, the session focused on introducing students to commonly used Gurmukhi phrases in everyday situations.
The young learners were guided through short, meaningful dialogues centered around scenarios like shopping and traveling. This hands-on learning approach significantly enhanced their listening, speaking, and role-playing abilities.
Activity Highlight: Shop Role-Play
Students stepped into real-life roles as shopkeepers and customers, confidently conversing in Gurmukhi. The activity created an immersive environment that helped students internalize vocabulary and sentence structures relevant to daily commerce.
Activity Highlight: Bus Conversation & Role-Play
Adding an exciting twist to the learning experience, students enacted the roles of bus drivers and passengers. This activity encouraged them to use practical travel-based language, making the learning both functional and fun.
The day’s activities concluded on a high note, with students not only gaining confidence in their spoken Gurmukhi but also enjoying the spirit of collaboration and creativity.
