An awareness programme under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) was today organised for Krishi Udyamis by the Agriculture Production Department here at the Town Hall.
A large number of Krishi Udyamis, along with officers from the Agriculture and allied departments attended the programme chaired by Chief Agriculture Officer Amjad Hussain. The AO provided a detailed overview of the objectives of the Kisan Khidmat Ghars. He assured Krishi Udyamis of full cooperation from the department and addressed their grievances.
He raised awareness about various departmental schemes aimed at improving the livelihood of farmers and agri-entrepreneurs. The District officers from allied departments and functionaries from Banks also briefed attendees about the benefits of HADP schemes and other initiatives.
The DDM NABARD and Bank Cluster Head highlighted the role of financial institutions in supporting agricultural growth. They discussed different credit schemes and financial assistance available to farmers.
