Operation Sindoor: A strong message against Terrorism

Operation Sindoor the meticulously orchestrated and efficiently executed response to terrorism post barbaric Pahalgam massacre has taken the fight against Terrorism to a new level.
Operation Sindoor not only defined a new normal marking a noticeable shift in India’ policy of restraint to deterrence by punishment but also pushed India to leadership role globally in the fight against Terrorism.
India is leading by example and uniting nations, countries, societies, think tanks and others for survival of Humanity not only in India or South Asia but across the continents.
This was stated by Girdhari Lal Raina Ex-MLC and spokesperson of BJP Jammu Kashmir. He was addressing a press conference along with Rajni Sethi, spokesperson of BJP and Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Incharge, J&K BJP.
GL Raina strongly criticized opportunistic opposition parties for attempting to shift narrative from fight against terrorism to petty political issues. These opposition parties are trying to bail out Pakistan, the manufacturing factory and sponsor of cross border terrorism in India and other countries across the world. GL Raina cautioned people to identify and expose all forces inimical to peace, progress, prosperity and development. It is a struggle for the existence of humanity. Politics can wait for an appropriate time, he asserted.
The Modi Government is making every effort to take the entire country into confidence as is visible in the selection of teams of Parliamentarians and others for taking the Indian viewpoint to the world community.
These delegations are not just emissaries of GOI; they are narrative architects and strategic communicators. Tasked with restoring clarity and countering Pakistan’s narrative rooted in the communalism of the ‘two-nation theory.’
They are also exposing Pakistan for its use of terror as statecraft which is a global challenge to the integrity of international counterterrorism norms.
Rajni Sethi said that in a cowardly act, Pakistan-backed terrorists targeted Hindus in our country, brutally attacking civilians during the Pahalgam incident. In a heartbreaking display of cruelty, they killed husbands and removed the Sindoor from the foreheads of Hindu women. In response, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor, a decisive mission that dismantled multiple terrorist camps across Pakistan.
Sindoor is more than just a symbol—it represents the dignity and identity of Indian women.
In this operation, the valor of women in uniform stood out. Colonel Sofia Qureshi and Wing Commander Viomika Singh played crucial roles in planning and execution. Alongside them, BSF Assistant Commandant Neha Bhandari, Constables Manjeet Kaur, Jyoti, and others responded fiercely, targeting enemy posts and giving a strong message: India will not tolerate terror.

Prime Minister Modi has repeatedly emphasized that “terror, talks, and trade cannot go together.” Operation Sindoor reinforced that resolve. It also highlighted that nationalism transcends gender—in defending the nation, men and women stand equally.
Unfortunately, in this crucial time, opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi visited Poonch but failed to mention Pakistan’s role in the Pahalgam attack. Some regional parties, too, are attempting to divert attention by focusing on unrelated issues like tourism and statehood. Is this the time for such distractions? When the nation stands united against terror, it is the responsibility of all leaders to show solidarity—not silence, said Rajni Sethi.
