Jammu, May 28: The Equal Opportunity Cell of Dogra Degree College, in collaboration with the Global Hunt Foundation, organized an online awareness session on Menstrual Health and Hygiene on May 28, 2025, exclusively for female students and female staff members. The event aimed to educate and empower participants through informed discussions on an often-stigmatized subject.
The session was conducted by Ms. Harshita Upadhyay, a representative and expert from the Global Hunt Foundation, who provided valuable insights into menstrual health management, hygiene practices, and the social challenges associated with menstruation. Through an interactive and informative format, Ms. Upadhyay engaged participants in meaningful conversations, helping them better understand and care for their menstrual health.
This initiative was part of Dogra Degree College’s continuous efforts to promote gender equality, health education, and a supportive learning environment. The Principal of Dogra Degree College appreciated the effort taken by the Equal Opportunity Cell.
