The District Administration Ramban, under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, today provided relief material among the flood affected families here at Dharamkund camp.
Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Niamatullah Sheikh, today visited the relief camp established in Dharamkund to monitor relief efforts and oversee the distribution of essential supplies.
During the visit, ration kits and other necessary items were distributed among the flood-affected families to ensure their immediate food and survival needs were met. The AD FCS&CA also interacted with the victims, listened to their grievances, and assured them of continued support from the district administration. Several issues raised by the affected families were redressed on the spot, showcasing the administration’s commitment to responsive governance.
Block Development Officer (BDO) Sangaldan, Anamol, along with other field staff and officials from the concerned departments were also present.
The DC Ramban has issued directions to all concerned departments to stay vigilant and provide all possible assistance to the flood-hit population. He emphasized the importance of timely interventions and coordinated efforts to mitigate the impact of natural calamities.
The District Administration reiterated its commitment to standing by the people in times of crisis and ensuring that relief and rehabilitation measures reach every affected individual in a timely and efficient manner.
