Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, today chaired a meeting here in the Video Conference Room of the DC Office Complex to review the status of grievances and registrations on the JK Samadhan portal.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the nature and status of public grievances received and their timely redressal. He directed all concerned officers to ensure prompt and effective resolution of public grievances, emphasizing that citizen issues must be addressed on priority to build public trust and strengthen service delivery mechanisms.
Highlighting the importance of digital engagement, the Deputy Commissioner also laid special emphasis on promoting the “Digidost” initiative to further enhance public awareness and participation in online grievance redressal and service platforms.
The Deputy Commissioner called upon all officers to work in a coordinated manner to ensure swift redressal of public issues and to encourage citizens to utilize the JK Samadhan portal for lodging their grievances.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa; Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Chander Prakash; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Sheraz Chouhan; District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Raheem; along with other district and sectoral officers.
