The District Administration Poonch and Pritam Spiritual Trust Poonch today organized the annual Scholarship and Mobility appliances Distribution Camp at Kamsar. The event aimed to support underprivileged members of the community by providing essential resources and financial assistance.
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal as the chief guest. During the event, he distributed scholarships to 24 needy, orphaned, underprivileged, and disabled students, ensuring they have the necessary support to pursue their education.
In addition to scholarship assistance, the camp also provided vital mobility aids, including wheelchairs, hearing aids, and walking sticks, to individuals in need. This initiative reflects the commitment of the District Administration to enhance the quality of life for all residents, particularly the most vulnerable groups.
In his address, the DC emphasized, “The District Administration Poonch is always ready to fulfill its social responsibilities for the overall development of the district. We recognize the importance of supporting our youth and the specially abled persons, as they are the pillars of our future.” He also commended the Pritam Singh Trust for their unwavering dedication to social responsibilities, highlighting the importance of community collaboration in achieving sustainable development The event was attended by the local officials, community leaders and residents, all coming together to celebrate the spirit of giving and support for those in need.
