An Orientation-cum-Training Programme for Yuva Doots was today organized under Mission YUVA here in Conference Hall DC Office Complex.
The session, chaired by Additional District Development Commis-sioner Rajinder Singh, was aimed at sensitizing the Yuva Doots about their role and responsibilities under Mission YUVA, an ambitious initiative to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC emphasized the importance of strategic planning and active coordination among all stakeholders to nurture and cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit among the youth. He encouraged the Yuva Doots to act as effective communicators and facilitators between the administration and young aspiring entrepreneurs at the grassroots level. He highlighted the pivotal role that Yuva Doots can play in identifying potential entrepreneurs, spreading awareness about various self-employment schemes, and assisting them in availing benefits under Mission YUVA.
Earlier, Assistant Director Employment Priyanka Gupta delivered an insightful presentation on various components of Mission YUVA, explaining its objectives, expected outcomes and key features such as interest subvention schemes, the Open Network for Digital Commerce one-stop e-commerce marketing platform, District Level Small Business Development Units and Sub-Divisional level Business Help Desks.
She elaborated on how these initiatives are designed to provide a robust ecosystem to budding entrepreneurs and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.
