UDHAMPUR, Apr 14
Member Legislative Assembly Udhampur West Pawan Kumar Gupta inaugurated two power transformers, each with a capacity of 30 KVA, involving a cost of around Rs. 10 Lakh. The initiative aims to upgrade the power supply to the Jib and Kambal Danga localities, benefiting numerous households that have faced frequent power disruptions and low voltage issues for several years. The project was prioritized with the intervention of the MLA and the pressing demands of the people, conveyed through DDC Ashu Sharma and former PRI members. The upgradation of power supply was undertaken as a priority, fulfilling a promise made to people by the MLA. On the occasion, the MLA assured the public that he would continue to strive to address all other long standing issues. He emphasized that after the release of funds for the current year, he would take all necessary steps to improve the sectors of education, water supply, and power, which remain his priorities.
The event was attended by several notable individuals Raj Kumari (Ex-Panch), Shashi Bala (Ex-Panch) and Purshotam (Ex-Panch) and local residents.
