A Dogri Poetry Book of lyrics penned by J.S.Pradesi was released by Nami Dogri Sanstha at K.L Sehgal Hall . Dr Radha Rani Assistant Professor in Dogri read a comprihensive paper on the book . Joginder Singh Pardesi was Honoured on the occasion by NDS and conferred upon him the Sanstha Sammaan “Duggar Di Awaaz” .
Om Vidyarathi IFS (Retd) and Sahitya Academy Awardee presided over, where as Shaminder Kumar former Director Radio Jalandhar was Chief Guest . Shalinder Singh Sahitya Academy awardee and SSP Railways were the Guests Of Honour , Manisha Sharma Assistant Director and Bachan Bhagat , both Assistant Directors Radio Jammu were Special Guests . Prithvi Raj Sharma famous Music Composer of Duggar was Special Invitee on the occasion . Prof .Anupama Sharma Patron NDS and famous singer of Jammu and Kashmir and Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila President NDS also shared the dias .
Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS conducted the proceedings. Earlier at the outset Capt.Lalit Sharma IFS Convener NDS in his opening address while speaking on the book said that the poetry of J.S .Pardesi has the tinge and reflections of the english poetry of William Wordsworth , as all the lyrics of Joginder Singh Pardesi are painted with nature. Om Vidyarathi described the book a master piece in dogri poetry and a motivational writing for the young poets .
Shaminder Kumar said that a passionate approach in must to save dogri language and Duggar Culture and mere formalities will not work . Shalinder Singh lauded the poetic contants of the book and described the poetry a significant milestone in dogri poetry coupled with rich dogri vacabulary.
Mrs. Madhvi Sharma a famous Radio Announcer who also expressed her views appreciated the personality of J. S. Pardesi and described him an able broadcaster , talented radio artist and a fine human being who remained helpful to every one .
Bachan Bhagat Assistant Director All India Radio Jammu described the author an exceptional personality in terms of his qualities of head and heart .
Manisha Sharma Assistant Director All India Radio Jammu recalled as to how she was groomed and supported by J. S. Pardesi during initial years of his service.
Prithvi Sharma said that his poetry has inherent and inbuilt sweet and vibrant music which can easily be tapped by a music composer .
J.S.Pardesi after serving Army for about seven years joinned All India Radio Jammu and with dent of his hard work and talent rose to the position of Programme Executive and earned a name among the people and radio staff . The compilation has one hundred and seven poetry gems bouqueted into a book . The deep love of the poet for his motherland is reflected in his poetry and the fragrance of Duggar emanates from his each poetic item . Kulbhushan Singh Jamwal Art Critic & Journalist and Other Prominent personalities of Duggar in large number attended the function.
