Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan today reviewed the functioning and achievements of the Rural Engineering Wing (REW) of the Rural Development Department (RDD).
At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Develop-ment Phulail Singh gave a detailed presentation regarding the working of REW and the progress achieved during the current Financial Year.
The review meeting focused on assessing the work progress, with specific focus on the completion timelines and the quality of work.
The DC reviewed the work-wise progress, ensuring that each aspect of the ongoing projects is closely monitored. He directed the Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) and Junior Engineers (JEs) to ensure that all works are completed within the current financial year.
The DC emphasized that timely completion of projects is essential, alongside maintaining the highest quality standards in the execution of works.
The DC made it clear that the responsibility for both the completion and quality of the work lies solely with the concerned AEEs and JEs, and they are expected to ensure that all projects are completed and quality-checked in a time-bound manner.
The meeting was attended by the ACD Kishtwar Phulail Singh, Executive Engineer REW RDD Kishtwar, AEEs, JEs, Technical Assistants (TAs), and other concerned staff.
