The Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with the State Level Coordinating Agency (SLCAJK), designated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India organised a one-day capacity-building training program for youth volunteers here in the Conference Hall of New DC Office Complex.
The part of National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) initiative, the drive aimed at empowering and equipping volunteers with the necessary skills to address the pressing issue of drug demand reduction.
About 100 youth volunteers actively participated in the training, which focused on enhancing their knowledge and capabilities to become effective change agents in their communities.
NGOs, including Bun Astan Human Relief Foundation and Asrariya Institute of Technical Education, also contributed to the event, enriching the training with their expertise and resources.
