Irresponsible statement on floor of house by NC and others is highly condemned

Taking steps to boost industrial growth in J&K, the Modi government announced the biggest Industrial package for J&K up to the tune of Rs 28,400 crores in 2019, which received huge response from investors across the country. The proposals received were much more than expected. It speaks of overwhelming response and good investment opportunity boosting the business in the region as well.
This was stated by Arun Gupta, Spokesperson, J&K BJP accompanied by Dr. Tahir Choudhary, Spokesperson and Dr. Pardeep Mahotra Media Incharge, J&K BJP, while addressing a press conference at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Arun Gupta said that the NC has always claimed to be well-wishers of J&K citizens, but their actions and irresponsible utterances are against the interests of its people. Post 2019, J&K witnessed an era of Industrial growth where huge investments have been already done, units are operational, adding benefits to the economy of J&K in a big way including employment opportunities.
In Jammu, many big industrial units have been set up in Kathua and other industrial areas including set-ups by the local entrepreneurs, whereas in Kashmir huge investment has been witnessed in hospitality industries, which is part of Industries incentive package of 2019.
Many hotels by locals entering into franchise models with known hotel chains have come up and many more are in the pipeline.
NC govt has a typical mind set of keeping J&K always in a situation where no development should take place and their agenda to please some sections of society who believe in personal growth at the cost of the whole J&K population.
‘Loot-Khasoot’ is a terminology which suits NC as is evident from their misrule for the last 50+ years, where NC has been in governance multiple times. There has been no progress of industries whether manufacturing or hotel industry, or tourism related projects in all these years and crores of funds given to J&K had been part of ‘Loot-Khasoot’ by NC and its few so-called business entrepreneurs.
BJP will not allow this to happen and irresponsible statements on the floor of house that no industrial unit has come till date on allotted land needs introspection based on the ground-facts. Giving biased unverified statements like cancelling land for industries etc by members of NC advising their CM to act on it is very dangerous for the growth of J&K.
J&K has reached the level of business growth after much effort unprecedented in J&K History in the last few years and the kind of infrastructure developed in education, Health, roads, tunnels and other is a testimony to the progress made in J&K.
BJP assures all investors in J&K, that their investments are as safe as would be in any other part of India. No one has any authority to undo things done in the interests of J&K’s prosperity and growth. NC and its legislatives must refrain from giving irresponsible statements which make investors perturbed. All the commitments made by the Government of India to achieve industrial growth have been fulfilled and would continue to be fulfilled in future without any compromise, said Arun Gupta.
