The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Jammu and Kashmir is set to celebrate the birth anniversary of its founder, Honorable Sahib Kanshi Ram, on March 15 by organizing programs at district and regional headquarters. On this occasion, the party will also launch special campaigns to strengthen its presence and expand its reach among the people.
On Monday, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of BSP Jammu and Kashmir President Darshan Rana to discuss the preparations for Kanshi Ram’s birth anniversary celebrations. During the program organized in the Bishnah Assembly constituency, a significant number of people left other political parties and joined the BSP.
These new members were warmly welcomed by the party’s state president.
Addressing the gathering, BSP state chief Darshan Rana announced that a special program would be held at the party office in District Jammu to pay tribute to Kanshi Ram and highlight his contributions to the progress and development of the country. In addition to district-level events, similar programs will be organized at the regional level to remember the party’s founder. A special campaign aimed at strengthening the party will also be launched on this day.
Welcoming the new members, Rana expressed confidence that their support would significantly boost the party’s strength. He stated that the BSP is committed to expanding its influence and, in the coming days, will organize programs at the assembly and panchayat levels. He further urged party workers to actively participate in the upcoming events marking Kanshi Ram’s birth anniversary.
On this occasion, senior party leader Swarn Lata welcomed the women who joined the BSP and shared her thoughts on the importance of women’s participation in politics. Other senior leaders, including Jagdish Bhagat and Tarsem Lal, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the need for unity and collective efforts to strengthen the party.
