Dogra HR Sec School celebrated National Science Day on 28 February, 2025 with enthusiasm, honoring the legacy of Nobel Laureate Sir C.V. Raman under the guidance of a Managing Director Kunwar Gambhir Dev Singh Charak to emphasize the role of science in progress, urging students to develop a scientific mindset.
The Principal, Mrs. Devinder Kour, in her address, highlighted the importance of integrating scientific knowledge into daily life and encouraged students to participate actively in research and experimentation.
Further reinforcing the significance of science education, Headmaster Mr. Ganesh Das motivated students to think critically and apply scientific principles in problem-solving.
He reiterated the school’s commitment to nurturing young scientists and fostering an environment conducive to learning and discovery.
An insightful speech was delivered by Mr. Omesh Chander Sharma, Lecturer in Physics, who elaborated on the legacy of Sir C.V. Raman and the impact of his discovery on modern physics.
He also engaged students with thought-provoking ideas about contemporary scientific challenges and breakthroughs.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the distinguished speakers, faculty members, and students for their active participation in making the celebration a success by Mrs. Eisha Gupta Lecturer English.
Mrs. Balbir Kour PGT Bio conducted Science practicals in the science laboratory of the school for the student of classes 8th and 9th to make the subjects more interesting.
Through this celebration, Dogra HR Sec School reaffirmed its dedication to promoting scientific inquiry and encouraging students to be inquisitive, innovative, and solution-oriented thinkers, ensuring a brighter future driven by knowledge and discovery.
