Dogra Degree College Hosts Workshop on Effective Sales & Marketing Strategies

In a major initiative aimed at fostering practical knowledge and skills among students, the Institutional and Innovation Council (IIC) of Dogra Degree College organized an insightful workshop on “Effective Sales & Marketing Strategies.” The event, held on the college campus, was specifically designed for students of the BBA and B.Com programs.The session commenced with a warm welcome note by Ms. Monika Sharma, Assistant Professor in the Department of Arts and Member of the IIC. The workshop provided students with a platform to showcase their understanding and creativity in the field of business and marketing.
The event featured a series of engaging presentations by BBA and B.Com students, who demonstrated innovative sales techniques, strategic marketing plans, and cutting-edge branding and customer engagement approaches.
The students effectively highlighted industry trends, consumer behavior insights, and digital marketing tools, showcasing how businesses can adapt to an evolving marketplace.The event was judged by Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal of Dogra College of Education, and Ms. Shuchi Sharma, Assistant Professor,Dogra Law College. The first position was secured by Sanamdeep, Jhanvi, and Harshdeep Singh, students of the BBA Department.
Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal of Dogra Degree College, applauded the students for their outstanding presentations and expressed pride in their academic excellence. “This workshop is a testament to the practical knowledge and enthusiasm our students bring to the classroom. Initiatives like these prepare them for real-world challenges and opportunities in the business sector,” she stated.Adding to the significance of the event, Mr. Rakesh Mohan Koul, HOD, Department of Management and Commerce, DDC, also graced the occasion. His presence further reinforced the commitment of the college toward enhancing students’ professional and entrepreneurial capabilities.The workshop also featured interactive discussions where students and faculty exchanged ideas on improving sales and marketing strategies in today’s competitive business landscape.The event concluded with a heartfelt thank-you note by Ms. AmarpreetKaur, Convenor of IIC and Assistant Professor in the Department of Management.
