BJP leaders, Akhnoor Residents listen to PM Modi’s 119th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast

Rakesh Mahajan, Incharge of All Cells, BJP J&K, along with prominent party leaders and local residents, convened today to listen to the 119th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at a community gathering in Akhnoor.
The program commenced with Ajay Kumar conducting the proceedings, setting a collaborative tone for the event. Kuldeep Raj Sharma, District President, delivered the welcome address, expressing gratitude to attendees and emphasizing the significance of collective engagement in national discourses.
The gathering was graced by esteemed personalities, including MLA Akhnoor Mohan Bhagat (SSP Retd); Vice Chairman DDC Jammu, Suraj Parkash; former MoS, Daljeet Singh Chib; and DDC members Jagdish Bhagta and Manmohan Singh. Their presence underscored the event’s importance and the community’s commitment to staying informed about national developments. During the broadcast, Prime Minister Modi reflected on India’s remarkable journey in space exploration. He highlighted the nation’s progress from humble beginnings to achieving significant milestones, such as the development of indigenous launch vehicles and successful missions like Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, and Aditya L-1. The Prime Minister lauded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for its accomplishment of deploying 104 satellites in a single mission and launching approximately 460 satellites in the past decade, many for international clients, showcasing India’s prowess in space technology.
The Prime Minister also shared insights from a recent Artificial Intelligence (AI) conference in Paris, where global leaders commended India’s advancements in AI. He emphasized the innovative applications of AI across various sectors by Indian professionals, highlighting the nation’s growing prominence in this field. Looking ahead to International Women’s Day on March 8, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to the nation’s women, citing cultural texts that honor feminine power and knowledge. He announced a unique initiative to celebrate women’s contributions by handing over his social media accounts to inspiring women for a day, allowing them to share their experiences and achievements directly with the nation. Additionally, the Prime Minister addressed the pressing issue of obesity, urging collective efforts to combat this growing health concern.
In his address, Rakesh Mahajan resonated with the Prime Minister’s sentiments, urging the youth to engage with science and technology, fostering curiosity and innovation. He encouraged the community to participate actively in national initiatives and emphasized the importance of collective efforts in addressing societal challenges, such as health concerns like obesity. MLA Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat, in his remarks, echoed the Prime Minister’s call for unity and progress. He highlighted the significance of community involvement in national development and urged the youth to take pride in India’s rich cultural heritage while embracing modern advancements.
The MLA also emphasized the importance of maintaining social harmony and working collectively towards the nation’s growth.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment from all attendees to contribute positively to the nation’s development and uphold the values highlighted in the Prime Minister’s address.
