SMVDU NCC Coordinator Participates in Aero India 2025

Dr. Varun Dutta, NCC Coordinator at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), attended Aero India 2025 at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. This prestigious airshow brought together participants from over 27 countries, showcasing cutting-edge aviation technology and aircraft.
For the first time in history, the USA’s F-35A and Russia’s Su-57E stealth fighter jets were displayed together. India also unveiled a full-scale model of its Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), equipped with state-of-the-art features.
Aero India 2025 saw the participation of 930 exhibitors from across the globe, including over 100 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The CEOs Roundtable, comprising 55 industry leaders from 19 countries, provided a platform for collaboration and discussions on the future of aerospace and defense technology.
During the event, Dr. Varun Dutta interacted with Indian Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, and engaged with pilots and ground crew members from the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team. He also experienced flight simulations of the Su-30MKI, Su-57E, and SAAB Gripen aircraft.
The concluding day of Aero India 2025 featured a breathtaking flying display, including aircraft such as the KC-135 Stratotanker and the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team. Dr. Varun Dutta also visited the Aircraft and Systems Testing Establishment (ASTE) in Bengaluru, where he interacted with Indian Air Force officers and officials from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
Dr. Varun Dutta expressed his gratitude to SMVDU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar, and Registrar, Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma (JKAS), for providing him with the opportunity to witness Asia’s largest aviation event and engage with global aerospace experts.
