JAMMU, Feb 16
Indian Army as part of ‘Operation Sadbhavana’, had conducted Information Technology Course at Thanamandi, Rajouri district. This skill development course was a comprehensive program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the principles and practices of Information Technology, including computer hardware and software, networking, database management and cyber security. The course was conducted from 22 January 2025 to 15 February 2025, which has witnessed active participation of seventeen youth from local communities. Indian Army has always been a pillar of support in guiding and empowering local youth by providing skill development opportunities.
Keeping the promising career scope of technology in the future, it also taught about database management system and networking fundamentals for youth of Thanamandi and nearby areas. Information Technology course provides a foundation for further study in specialized areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics and enabling students to stay at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field.
The skills and knowledge gained through this course will also enable participants to build stronger, more effective relationships with others, both in their personal and professional lives. Each participant’s progress is a testament to the dedication and perseverance of these youth. As a token of recognition, certificates for participation and gifts were awarded to all participants and instructors. This initiative not only empowers the youth of Thanamandi but also strengthens the bond between the Army and the local community.
It serves as a testament to Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to the service of the nation and its people. Operation Sadbhavana, with its mission to foster goodwill, development and positive change in the region, continues to be a beacon of hope for the people of Thanamandi and nearby areas.
