Ranvijay Singh, the great-grandson of Maharaja Hari Singh, has hailed the Union Budget 2025-26 as a transformative milestone towards achieving a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, with a strong emphasis on economic stability, middle-class welfare, and national self-reliance. He described the budget as an embodiment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to foster inclusive and sustainable growth for all sections of society.
In a press release issued today, Ranvijay Singh pointed out that the Budget is a beacon of hope for the middle class, offering a comprehensive set of tax reforms aimed at enhancing financial independence. One of the key highlights, he noted, is the increase in the tax exemption slab to ?12 lakh, alongside a significant raise in the tax deduction limit for senior citizens to ?1 lakh. “This is a government that understands the pulse of the common people and is committed to reducing their financial burden,” he said, emphasizing the relief these reforms will provide to hardworking citizens.
Ranvijay Singh further emphasized that the Budget directly addresses the financial challenges faced by the middle class, including rising living costs and low disposable income. He lauded the increase in TDS limits on rent and remittances, which will help alleviate financial stress for households across the country. “These measures will provide much-needed relief to families, easing their economic pressure and enabling better financial stability,” he added.
In addition to middle-class welfare, Ranvijay Singh praised the budget for its robust support to vital sectors, including MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), infrastructure, and agriculture. He underscored that the transformative initiatives outlined in the budget will empower farmers, promote entrepreneurship, and foster sustainable development, ensuring long-term economic growth.
Concluding his remarks, Ranvijay Singh reaffirmed that the Union Budget 2025-26 is a visionary document that will significantly contribute to the nation’s progress.
