Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu, celebrated 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event showcased a variety of performances and speeches, fostering a deep sense of pride and love for the nation.
The program began with a heartfelt welcome address by Miss Shivani, a dedicated teacher of the school, who warmly greeted the gathering and set a positive tone for the celebration.
The National Flag was proudly hoisted by the esteemed Managing Director, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak. This was followed by singing of National Anthem by all present, creating an atmosphere of unity and respect for the nation.
In his address, the Managing Director highlighted the importance of Republic Day as a celebration of India’s democratic values. He emphasized the role of students in shaping the nation’s future and encouraged everyone to uphold the ideals enshrined in the Constitution.
The Principal, Devinder Kour, expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the students and staff in organizing the event. She spoke about the significance of Republic Day and urged everyone to work together for the progress of the nation. A melodious group song was performed by the school choir, showcasing the talent and dedication of the students. The song resonated with the spirit of patriotism and unity.
