BJP leader and MLA East, Yudhvir Sethi, today inaugurated a modern multi-sports sic pockets facility at Sidhra, near Tawi Vihar main gate, aiming to provide a positive recreational space for the youth. The facility features snooker, skating (blades), chess, and other indoor and outdoor sports, along with a restaurant, making it a vibrant center for both sports and social gatherings.
Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi expressed concern over the rising menace of drug abuse among youth, stating that there is a dire need to divert young minds towards sports and constructive activities. “Drug peddling is on the rise, and it is our collective responsibility to safeguard the future of our younger generation. Sports play a crucial role in keeping youth engaged, disciplined, and away from harmful influences,” he asserted.
Sethi emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP is committed to empowering youth through sports, education, and skill development. He urged parents and the community to encourage children to actively participate in sports, which not only enhances physical fitness but also instills discipline and teamwork.
