Jammu Police, in its ongoing efforts under Operation Sanjeevani to curb drug trafficking and substance abuse, apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 3.48 grams of heroin-like substance in the area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowabad
A police team of Police Post Talab Tillo had established a Naka at Puran Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu and apprehended one pedestrian who disclosed his identity as Mohd. Rafi, S/O Javed Ahmed, R/O Gujar Basti, Camp Gol Gujral, Jammu and during his personal search, approximately 3.48 grams of Heroin-like substance was recovered from his possession.Consequently,a case FIR No.04/2025 U/S 8/21/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad, marking a decisive step in the fight against drug trafficking.
