A One-day Divisional level capacity-building workshop for Field Level Officers (FLOs) HADP, of the Jammu Division was held today here at Baba Jitto, Kissan Kendra, Talab Tillo.
The workshop focused on enhancing the skills of the officers in audiovisual fieldwork documentation of achievements and the KS Documentation and Output Tracking App. This initiative aims to streamline documentation and tracking of agricultural progress and successes under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the region.
The programme was presided over by the Director Agriculture Jammu, S. Arvinder Singh Reen, who emphasized the importance of efficient documentation and real-time tracking of agricultural activities to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective policy implementation.
In his address, the Director highlighted the role of technology in modernizing agricultural practices and the need for officers to be well-versed in the latest tools for documenting achievements and outputs. He noted that the KS Documentation and Output Tracking App will empower officers to effectively capture and showcase the progress of various agricultural schemes and initiatives in the Jammu Division.
Joint Director Agriculture Extension, Satish Sharma, also addressed the gathering, underlining the significance of capacity building for the officers. He encouraged the participants to make the most of the training and adopt innovative practices in the field to bring about transformative changes in the agricultural sector.
Sandeep Dogra, SMS/KS Documentation Member gave a detailed presentation on the KS Documentation and Output Tracking App, explaining its features, functionalities, and how it can enhance documentation efficiency and accuracy. He highlighted how the app supports tracking of agricultural activities, ensuring that progress is documented and monitored in real-time.
Nipun Sharma and Adikansh Sharma, Technical Experts, also gave an in-depth presentation and conducted a hands-on workshop on audiovisual documentation, providing participants with practical skills for capturing field-based achievements through video and audio media.
The programme was attended by Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Deputy Director Central, Dr. Aman Jyoti Sharma, Agriculture Chemist, Alok Pandotra, Deputy Director Trainings, Jograj Singh, Agriculture Economist and Dharmesh Vaid, SMS-RL.
As a culmination of the workshop, certificates were presented to the participants by the Director, recognizing their participation and successful completion of the training session. Rajeev Katoch, Programme Officer conducted the proceedings of the programme.
