As part of the ongoing Good Governance Week (19th to 24th December 2024), themed “Transparent, Accountable, and Inclusive Governance,” a special workshop was organized today by the District Administration Doda in the conference hall of DC Office Complex.
The workshop was chaired by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Harvinder Singh and attended by the Additional District Development Commissioner Pran Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sudarshan Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, ACD, ACP and other district officers. ADC Bhaderwah, SDMs, Tehsildars, and BDOs participated through online mode.
The workshop highlighted the district’s initiatives and achievements under the Good Governance Week campaign, including Organizing Good Governance Camps across the district to address public grievances. Substantial numbers of grievances were disposed of during the week, with special emphasis on pending cases, grievances and other online platforms.
Sectoral officers shared innovative approaches adopted by their respective departments to streamline governance and ensure timely grievance redressal.
As part of the Good Governance Week activities, the District Administration plans to roll out a series of initiatives aimed at increasing public awareness about government services and encouraging community involvement in decision-making processes.
