President Anjuman-e-Sharia Shian, Aga Syed Hassan Friday made a fervent appeal for peaceful resolution and unity among the people of Syria.
While talking to reporters after the Friday congregational prayers, the former Hurriyat leader emphasized that all sects and communities in Syria should work collaboratively to address ongoing issues in the region without external interference.
He expressed concern over the involvement of external forces in Syria, stating, “Other countries should not ignite the conflict in Syria. It is crucial for the people of Syria to resolve their differences with dialogue and mutual understanding.”
Aga Syed Hasan also condemned recent ‘attacks’ on the Hindu community in Bangladesh. He called for ensuring equal rights and protection for all communities, urging governments and societies to prioritize harmony and justice. “Every individual, regardless of their faith, deserves to live with dignity and safety. Such attacks must be condemned universally, and steps must be taken to prevent such incidents in the future,” Aga Syed Hasan said.
