The students of Dogra Higher Secondary School (DHSS) showcased their exceptional talent and knowledge at the recently held “Bharat Ko Jano Quiz Competition at Prant level” organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) at the Institution of Engineers Auditorium, Channi Himmat, Jammu. Competing against 15 teams in the Junior Category, the students of DHSS emerged victorious, bagging the 1st Prize. The competition, graced by eminent dignitaries such as Prof. Vishwa Murti Sharma, Padmashree Awardee, and Dr. (Prof.) Lalit Magotra, President of Dogri Sanstha, was a platform for students to display their intellect and cultural knowledge. The eminent dignitaries appreciated the efforts of BVP in instilling values and nurturing talent among youth.
The students of DHSS, guided by their mentors, impressed everyone with their understanding of Indian heritage, culture, and traditions. Their performance not only earned them laurels at the state level but also paved the way for their participation in the national-level competition to be held in Ferozepur.
The Chairman of the School, Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Managing Director, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak and Principal Devinder Kour congratulated the students on their stellar performance and wished them success in the upcoming competition. They lauded the efforts of the staff and students, emphasizing the importance of such platforms in nurturing talent and fostering holistic development.
