Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM Additional Director General (ADG) of NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh, paid his maiden visit to the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC J10) at NCC Training Academy, Nagrota. This much-anticipated visit infused a fresh wave of energy and inspiration among cadets, who gathered eagerly to benefit from his insight and wisdom. The ADG was greeted with ceremonial protocol, embodying the spirit of service, honor, and dedication that marks the essence of NCC. The cadets, dressed immaculately in their uniforms, reflected the discipline and fervor that underpin their journey toward becoming future leaders of the nation.During his address, he lauded the cadets for their unwavering dedication and expressed immense pride in the efforts and values instilled by the NCC. He emphasized the significance of perseverance, discipline, and nation-first thinking, reiterating the critical role that NCC cadets play in shaping the nation’s future. He exhorted the cadets to utilise their time in the camp to learn good things and to become better citizens. He also directed the cadets to rely less on smart phones and to make long term real life friends.
His words were filled with motivation, urging the young cadets to strive for excellence and always uphold the core tenets of integrity and patriotism. In the end, he asked them to be “Brand Ambassadors” for NCC in the Society. A pivotal highlight of his visit was the interaction with the “Super 30” team—a group of specially selected cadets undergoing rigorous training to prepare for the Service Selection Board (SSB) exams.
These cadets are simultaneously being equipped with in-depth knowledge of the SSB exam pattern, interview modalities, and essential skills for success. The ADG engaged actively with the Super 30 team, offering invaluable guidance and sharing his wisdom on the strategies for acing the SSB. His interaction was marked by an empowering exchange of ideas, fostering a spirit of confidence among the aspirants who dream of serving the nation in uniform. The ADG’s encouraging words highlighted the NCC’s mission to nurture leadership, discipline, and patriotism.
