The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today chaired a meeting of officers at Mini Secretariat here to review the progress of ongoing health and irrigation projects in the district.
During the review, the DC passed instructions of expediting work on District Hospital including extension of casualty, additional block for maternity and child health, renovation and upgradation of main District hospital building, New Ticketing area, Upgradation of X Ray plant, Dialysis centre, Anesthesia workstations and autopsy room.
These works have been taken up this year in the District Hospital by the District Administration with an aim of major upgradation of District Hospital infra. The DC reviewed the status of the NTPHC buildings at Devsar and Kulgam.
The pending works of these two NTPHCs have been taken up under the District Capex.
Target of completion by November 30th has been given.
It was apprised that tenders have been floated and work will commence from the last week of this month.
He also reviewed the status of the Sub District Hospital Building Qaimoh. Directions were passed to R&B for immediate completion of electrical and mechanical works. In addition, the work on opening of the old hospital road was also reviewed.
The DC also reviewed the progress of SDH DH pora the new building of which is under construction.
