The District Administration Poonch, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, organized a Block Diwas outreach program here today at Ajote to address the local public issues.
All Line Department Officers, senior district and sector officers were present at the Block Diwas venue to address grievances and ensure last mile connectivity.
During the public outreach programme, locals and people from the adjacent villages raised their Issues and demands before the Deputy Commissioner.
The program aimed to enhance public outreach, with significant directions given by the Deputy Commissioner and other concerned heads to ensure the smooth implementation of development initiatives and the swift resolution of public issues of concern.
The Block Diwas events also featured discussions on the effective implementation of government schemes and initiatives aimed at improving local infrastructure and services. Directions were given for the timely completion of ongoing projects and for ensuring that benefits of welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries without delay.
Public health, education, and rural development were key focus areas, with officials emphasizing the importance of community involvement in these sectors.
