KCCI Meets Lt. Governor, Discusses Trade & Industry Concerns Post J&K Elections

A team of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry ( KCCI) lead by President Javed Ahmad Tenga called upon the Lt. Governor , Shri Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan on Saturday and congratulated him for conducting free and fair elections to the J& K Leg Assembly. The KCCI discussed matters related to General Trade, Handicrafts , industry, Tourism and One Time Settlement of NPA accounts with higher cap and longer time duration. The Lt. Governor assured to consider positively the issues raised by KCCI team.The KCCI President expressed gratitude to him for meeting them whenever they requested for an appointment for seeking redressal of trade related issues.
The KCCI team earlier on visited Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Umar Abdullah and congratulated them on their success in the recently held elections to the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly.The KCCI expressed the hope that once the new Government assumes office the issues related to businesses would be addressed by it. The KCCI also held a meeting with Group of Concerned Citizens comprising Ms. Radha Kumar, Mr. Kapil Kak and Mr. Wajahat Habib Ullah at the Chamber office.
The matters of trade, commerce , Industry, Tourism ,Handicrafts, agriculture, development vis a vis the present status and expectations from the incoming Government were discussed.
