Charri Yatra Led by Ashok Gupta Marks 45 Years of Tradition

On the first Navratri as per the tradition of past 45 years Charri Yatra was taken out from Tawi Bridge to Mata Vaishno Devi.
The Yatra was led by Mr ASHOK GUPTA who has initiated this practice 45 years back.
The procession started from Maharaja Hari Singh Statue and concluded at Brigader Rajinder Singh Chowk and from there the workers boarded the buses for Katra. The winter Navratras are the ones in which huge no of people visit the shrine for darshan as the numbers sum up to 37,000 people.
The auspicious JOT will be carried on the shoulders of the sevaks along with SILVER CHARRI’ S beard by sevaks. The auspicious JOT will be lighted from the JOT of the Purani Guffa and than bought back to Jammu in the temple of YADHO RAM JI at Rani Park, Jammu
The party president appealed to the people to visit the temple of YADHO RAM ji and the light JOT which they shall keep in the temples of their house.
He further stated that in the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi he will pray for the safety and prosperity of the citizens of Jammu & Kashmir
The party workers who led the Yatra along with Sh ASHOK GUPTA were Narinder Tangari, Abhishek, Ashish, Ashu, Sushil, Fauji, Geeta, Sunil, Mohan, Nirmal and various others were present.
