Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, strongly criticized NC leader Omar Abdullah for advocating talks with Pakistan on the issue of terrorism. He reminded Omar that terrorism in the erstwhile state began during the rule of the National Conference (NC) and continues to harm Jammu and Kashmir.
“Terrorism grew under the National Conference’s rule, and Omar Abdullah should take responsibility before making such remarks. It’s clear now that the National Conference and Congress are working to promote Pakistan’s agenda in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said while speaking to media persons during the election campaign at Bahu constituency.
Kavinder further mentioned that Pakistan’s Defense Minister recently admitted that Pakistan shares the same view as NC and Congress on bringing back Article 370.
“This proves that these parties are working with Pakistan to divide the country. I urge the people of Jammu to be careful of political parties like these, who are pushing Pakistan’s interests in our land,” he warned.
Earlier, Kavinder Gupta intensified the BJP’s campaign in support of Vikram Randhawa, BJP candidate for the Bahu constituency. Speaking at rallies in several areas of Jammu West, Kavinder called on voters to reject parties that side with Pakistan and support the BJP for a safe and strong Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged the public to vote for Randhawa and strengthen BJP’s mission of peace, development, and national security.
