In a remarkable demonstration of dedication and skill, an army paramedic has been making a significant impact on the Mughal Road at KM’28, a historically significant but perilous route connecting Srinagar and Jammu. The road, known for its rugged terrain and extreme weather conditions, has been the scene of numerous accidents and emergencies. Recently, the paramedic, stationed as part of a specialized military team, responded to several critical incidents on the road. On 5 September, 32 year old individual Mr Shkoet Ali met an accident, the paramedic provided immediate medical attention to injured and stabilised the injured.
The paramedic’s prompt and professional care was crucial in ensuring that the victims received timely treatment at nearby medical facilities. The Mughal Road, while offering breath-taking views and a vital link between the regions, poses significant challenges for travellers.
