Dogra Law College was abuzz with energy and appreciation as students organized a vibrant Teachers’ Day celebration, honouring the dedicated educators who have been instrumental in shaping their academic journey. The event held to showcase a heartfelt tribute to the teaching staff with a series of engaging activities, including games, songs, dance, and the traditional lighting of the lamp to mark the beginning of the festivities.
The occasion commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. The welcome address was delivered by Jhanvi Parihar, Student of BALLB 6th Semester who extended a warm greeting to the esteemed guests and the faculty members. The celebration featured a delightful array of performances, including spirited games, melodious songs, and energetic dances, all performed by the students to express their gratitude and admiration for their teachers.
A special highlight of the event was the “Title Giving” ceremony, where students playfully awarded unique titles to their teachers, reflecting their appreciation and the special roles their educators play in their lives. The ceremony was both entertaining and touching, underscoring the deep bond between students and teachers.
The program also included a heartfelt vote of thanks by Bhoomi Thaper, acknowledging the relentless efforts of the teaching staff and the support of the distinguished guests. The event was further graced by the presence Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust, Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, and other dignitaries.
The evening concluded with presidential remarks delivered by Th.
