JAMMU, Sept 3
Arvind Gupta, senior BJP leader and BJP candidate from Jammu West Assembly segment, has called upon the people of Jammu & Kashmir to extend their support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Assembly elections. Stressing the need to sustain the ongoing developmental momentum in the region, he urged voters to back the BJP’s vision for a prosperous and secure J&K, while also sharply criticizing regional parties for neglecting the people of Jammu.
Addressing a series of public gatherings in Jammu West, the senior BJP leader outlined how the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has spearheaded transformative development initiatives that have greatly improved infrastructure, healthcare, education, and overall quality of life in the region. “Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented development under the BJP’s governance. From improved road networks to new educational institutions and enhanced healthcare facilities, we have delivered on our promise of progress,” he said.
Arvind also criticized regional parties, accusing them of giving “step-motherly treatment” to the people of Jammu region for decades. “For far too long, the regional parties have focused solely on their political interests, neglecting the aspirations and needs of Jammu’s people. They have divided the state on regional lines and ignored the development of this vital region. Their bias against Jammu is clear from their lack of focus on its infrastructure and welfare,” he added.
Highlighting the stark contrast between the BJP and the regional parties, Arvind Gupta said that the BJP has always treated all regions of Jammu & Kashmir equally, with a focus on inclusive development. “The BJP is the only party that has worked to bridge the gap between different regions and ensure that every citizen, whether from Jammu, Kashmir, or Ladakh, benefits from the government’s development initiatives.”
He urged the people to support the BJP to ensure that the progress achieved so far is not reversed. “It is time for the people of Jammu to reject the divisive and biased politics of regional parties. Support the BJP to sustain the ongoing spree of development and secure a bright future for our region.”
