SUCHETGARH, Sept 3
Taranjit Singh Tony, General Secretary of the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee and DDC Suchetgarh, today assured the daily wagers in Jammu and Kashmir that the Congress party is committed to resolving their long-standing issues, if the Party voted to power in the upcoming Assembly polls.
Addressing a gathering, Tony stated that the Party guarantees the regularization of all daily wagers if voted to power in the upcoming Assembly elections. He criticized the current administration for neglecting the needs of thousands of daily wagers who are enduring severe financial hardships due to the government’s “hollow and anti-worker” policies. He emphasized that despite repeated appeals, the ruling dispensation has failed to deliver on its promises, leaving these workers in a precarious position.
“The Congress Party is fully committed to the cause of daily wagers and understands the struggles they face under the current regime. We guarantee that once we form the government, we will regularize all daily wagers, ensuring them job security and dignity,” said Tony.
The senior BJP leader appealed to the daily wagers and their families to extend their full support to Congress and its alliance candidates in the upcoming Assembly polls, urging them to vote for a government that truly cares for the welfare of the working class.
The Congress Party, Tony reiterated, stands for inclusivity and fair treatment of all sections of society, and the regularization of daily wagers will be a key priority in its governance agenda.
